Israel and Yugoslavia signed an $11,000,000 trade agreement yesterday, the fourth since the establishment of the Jewish State.
The pact provides for a barter arrangement in which Yugoslavia will exchange $5,500,000 worth of timber, metals, chemicals and agricultural products for similarly valued Israeli citrus products, tires, textiles and pharmaceuticals. Last year’s pact provided for an exchange of only $7,000,000 worth of goods.
