Israel announced that it plans to allow some 700 homes to be built in two West Bank settlements. Making the announcement regarding Ma’aleh Adumim and Alfei Menashe, Housing Minister Natan Sharansky said the ongoing Palestinian violence has shown “how important it is to lend a hand to and strengthen the citizens” living in the West Bank.
