The Israel Cabinet today decided to appoint a committee of financial experts to study the problem of foreign currency.
A government spokesman revealed that the committee will study all aspects of the problem, including that of control. It will decide whether and to what extent foreign currency controls should be lifted. The committee is expected to make recommendations speedily.
