The Israel Government has appointed Eric Heinemann, honorary Israel consul in Guatemala, as Ambassador to this country on the occasion of the forthcoming inauguration of the President of Costa Rica, scheduled to take place Nov. 8. Mr. Heinemann will hold the title of Ambassador solely for the inauguration ceremonies.
