The Israel Ministry of Religion has denied Jordan’s charge that it had “desecrated a Moslem cemetery in Jerusalem.” The Ministry said that it had merely ordered a twenty-year accumulation of refuse to be cleared out of the cemetery. The Ministry’s communique also published the original charges by the Moslems.
