Israel Asks Red Cross for Information on Fate of Three Missing Soldiers

Israel has approached the International Red Cross for information on the fate of three soldiers missing in last Thursday’s operation against terrorist bases in Jordan, it was learned here today. One of the three men is presumed to be dead, but the other two are believed to have been taken prisoner by the Jordanians. Israel agreed to permit the Red Cross to investigate the condition of El Fatah prisoners captured in Thursday’s battle.
