ISRAEL AVOIDS RAISING OF GERMAN FLAG AT MUSIC FESTIVAL
When the International Festival of Contemporary Music opened in this city two nights ago only the Israeli flag was flown and no foreign baners were hoisted, in order to avoid the necessity of raising the German flag in Israel.
This was learned here today when it was also disclosed that Hans Joachim, previously listed as a delegate from Austria, was actually a representative of the German Society for Contemporary Music. He is a known anti-Nazi.
