Israel banned the import of some dogs after one of them killed a child. Monday’s order by the Agriculture Ministry included a requirement for Israeli owners of dogs such as Amstaffs, Pit Bull Terriers or Rottweilers to neuter them by the end of the year, in what media called an effort to render them extinct in the country.
