An exchange of instruments of ratification of a new air services agreement between Belgium and Israel took place here today at a ceremony in the Belgian Foreign Office. Belgian Foreign Minister Paul Van Zeeland represented the Belgian Government, while Israel’s Minister to Belgium, Joseph Ariel, represented the Jewish State.
Following the formal part of the ceremony, the Foreign Minister and the Israel envoy exchanged toasts, both expressing satisfaction with the conclusion of the agreement and emphasizing that the pact will reinforce the friendly relations existing between Israel and Belgium.
