Finance Minister Levi Eshkol announced today that the Israel Government had set up a committee to register property claims of Jewish refugees arriving here from Egypt. Some 13,000 Jews have already been compelled by the policies of the Nasser regime to emigrate from Egypt leaving their property behind. The committee will take declarations from those refugees arriving here in order to make complete records to support possible future compensation claims.
