Discussion of the growth of non-Jewish participation in the Israel bond campaign will take place at a two-day planning conference of the Board of Governors of the Israel Bond Organization which will take place this weekend at the Savoy-Hilton Hotel here, it was announced today by Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, vice-president of the organization.
The conference will review the results of the Israel bond campaign during 1962, and will adopt a goal for the 1963 drive. Plans for 1963 as the first year of the redemption of Israel bonds will also be mapped at the conference. Starting May 1, Israel will begin the repayment of the 12-year Israel Independence Savings Bonds, which were sold at the inception of the drive in 1951.
