A decision to seek approval of supplementary budget of 113 million pounds for the current fiscal year, in addition to expenditures for 1955-56 of 631 millions was taken at an extraordinary Cabinet session here yesterday. Finance Minister Levi Eshkol again presided over the meeting in the continued absence of Premier Ben Gurion, who is recovering from an attack of the flu.

Additional funds are needed to finance the absorption of the North African immigration wave, for security expenditures, more housing and public works. The Knesset will be asked next week to approve the supplementary budget and legislation providing for the funds. Part of the necessary funds will come from new taxes and part from an internal loan.
