Foreign Minister Golda Meir reported to the Cabinet the contents of a note sent by Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev to Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion on the Soviet views for the solution of the Congo crisis.

It is understood that the same letter–asking for support of Soviet proposals on the Congo in the United Nations General Assembly session which opened yesterday, was submitted to all other member countries of the United Nations who had not received a similar letter sent a week earlier to a selected list of countries.
