A three and one-half year, 115,000,000 pound program to eliminate all temporary housing for immigrants was submitted to the Israel Cabinet by Labor Minister Mordecai Namir.
The plan calls for the building of homes for 20,000 families currently living in temporary housing. It also provides for the housing of tens of thousands more who are expected to arrive during the three and one-half years.
