The Israel Cabinet today decided to send its condolences on the death of Hayim Greenberg, American Labor Zionist leader, to the Jewish Agency executive in New York, of which he was a member, and to his family. It was learned that Premier David Ben Gurion has already sent a message to the widow.
Meanwhile, a memorial meeting was held here last night for Dr. Greenberg. Berl Locker, co-chairman of the executive, and Zalman Shazar, a member, eulogized him. They noted his contributions to Jewish culture and to the Zionist movement and stressed the combination in the late Dr. Greenberg of a “noble heart and a big brain.”
