The system of education in the immigrant camps which precipitated the latest Israel Cabinet crisis this week was discussed today at a meeting of the Cabinet. A decision on the subject will be reached at a special Cabinet session scheduled for Tuesday.

At its meeting today the Cabinet approved a measure requesting all Israelis to turn over to the Treasury all securities paying dividends in dollars in exchange for Israel bonds. The Cabinet also voted a quarter of a million pounds grant to the Hebrew University, as well as grants to the Weizmann Institute of Science at Rehovoth and the Technion at Haifa.

A contract for 1,000,000 pounds ($280,000,000) has been awarded by the Ministries of Labor and Communications to Solel Boneh, the Histadrut construction cooperative, for the construction of deep sea port facilities at the mouth of the Kishon River, near Haifa. The contract calls for the construction of over two miles of dock facilities for ocean liners.
