The Israel Cabinet will meet tomorrow to discuss the request by U.N. Secretary-General Trygve Lie for armed aid to the forces now fighting aggression in Korea. It is predicted that the Israel Government will reply that it regrets its inability to fulfill this request, in view of the fact that hostile Arab armies are still concentrated on the borders of the Jewish state.
(The central committee of the Labor Zionist Organization of America today adopted a resolution in New York expressing gratification that Israel has taken a stand on the Korean conflict in accordance with the decision of the U.N. Security Council. The resolution pointed out that the Arab governments failed to follow the U.N. decision.)
