An Israeli military spokesman today complained bitterly about the United Nations truce machinery and its handling of recent truce infractions involving Jordan.

In a blast at the U.N. chairman of the Mixed Armistice Commission for delaying the investigation of the killing of five Israelis in the Negev by “infiltrees,” the Israeli spokesman said that he had postponed a meeting of the M.A.C. on the case for days and that when it met yesterday he refused to condemn Jordan.

The spokesman called the U.N. chairman of the armistice commission “unfair” and added that he had “surrendered” to Jordan pressure and propaganda. This is not the first time U.N. observers have decided in favor of Jordan “contrary to any logic or objective judgment,” the Israeli said.
