Israel has made eight complaints to the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization in Palestine listing eight separate Egyptian attacks on the night of April 7 in a sector starting from the village of Migdal, on the Mediterranean coast, to Faluja, 12 miles east, and then south to Shoval.
According to a communique from Maj. Gen, E. L. M. Burns, chief of UNTSO, issued here, Israel has reported four dead and at least 15 wounded in these raids. Five of the attacks have already been investigated by UN observers, Gen. Burns reported, and the remainder are still being probed.
Egypt today addressed a second letter to the United Nations Security Council complaining against alleged Israel “aggressions. “At the same time, a spokesman for the Egyptian delegation here issued a statement in which he declared that since the beginning of 1955 Israel committed 377 acts of aggression against Egypt, 277 of them having allegedly been committed since January, 1956.
