Israel Consul General Leaves New York to Attend U.N. Assembly

Arthur Lourie, Consul General of Israel in New York, left tonight for Paris where he will serve as a member of Israel’s delegation to the General Assembly of the United Nations. During his absence from New York, Mr. Shmuel Bendor will serve as Acting Consul General. Mr. Bendor is head of the American Division of the Israel Ministry for Foreign Affairs. He arrived in the United States last month for consultations.
