Israel announced to the 54-nation U.N. Technical Assistance Conference here today that it was contributing $28,000 to the United Nations technical assistance program.
Pointing to the achievements of such Israel scientific institutions as the Hebrew University, Weizmanu Institute of Science, Agricultural Research Station in Rehovot, and Haifa Technion, the Israel delegate Moshe Witkon declared: “My government will gladly welcome the opportunity of sharing the results of our experience in scientific efforts with other nations through the medium of this technical assistance program.”
