A crew of Israeli seamen left here last night for Bremerhaven to man the transatlantic passenger vessel S.S. Argentina whose sale to the Zim Israel Navigation Company by the American concern was announced yesterday.
The 11,000 ton vessel, which will be renamed the Jerusalem, will cruise regularly between Haifa and French and Italian Mediterranean ports with both tourists and immigrants. The liner, the largest passenger vessel to fly the Israel flag, will also make several special trips between New York and Haifa during the year. It has a capacity of 900 passengers.
