Israel Day was celebrated today at the Bari International Trade Fair, and the Israel diplomatic mission in Israel tendered a reception for leaders of the Fair and for Italian national and municipal representatives. Shimon Yallon, Israel’s commercial attache in Italy, said that Israel participation in the fair would be expanded each year.
During the current fair, Israel exporters have made a number of valuable business contacts. They have sold potash for delivery by the end of this year and next year, and various Israel handicrafts and Israel made automobile replacement parts are expected to appear on the Italian market in the near future.
