Lebanese charges that a group of saboteurs was working for Israel on Lebanese soil today received emphatic denial from the Israeli military spokesman. He said Israel had no connection whatever with the gang the Lebanese authorities assertedly had uncovered there and indicated belief that the gang was probably involved in inter-Arab feuds.

Israel, he said, “has no hostile intentions towards The Lebanon, its government or its president.”
