Israel today continued its counter-offensive against Syria’s complaint to the United Nations Security Council by submitting to UN Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold another letter disclaiming allegations that during the recent clash on the shores of Lake Tiberias it had occupied as much Syrian territory as Gen, E. L. M. Burns, UN truce chief, has reported, or that it had been responsible for a number of civilian Syrian casualties. The Israel letter was signed by Mordecai R. Kidron, deputy chief of the Israel delegation here.
