Israel and egypt have signed a cooperation agreement in the area of medicine. Health Minister Ephraim Sneh signed the accord in Cairo last week with his Egyptian counterpart, Ali Fatah.
The agreement calls for an exchange of information as well as an exchange of professional delegations.
During his stay in Egypt, Sneh also met with President Hosni Mubarak. Sneh said Mubarak told him that if Israel and Palestinians do not make progress in implementing the interim stage of the self-rule agreement, Jerusalem’s relations with the entire Arab world would suffer.
