An attempt to revive the Religious Bloc failed last night following the rejection by the Central Committee conducting the preparations for the parliamentary elections of a combined list of the Agudath Israel, Mizrachi Organization, and Agudah Laborites. The rejection was explained by the fact that a unified list actually means a new list. The election committee also rejected the lists presented by the Yeshurun group and by the Peace Party on the grounds that these two lists were not presented according to regulations.
