Six hundred Jewish school children from the Washington vicinity were guests of the Israel Embassy yesterday on the eve of the celebration of Israel’s Fifth Anniversary.
The children were received by Mrs. David Goitein, wife of the Israel Minister Plenipotentiary, and by wives of other officials and members of the Embassy staff, Motion pictures were shown, refreshments served, and talks given on the significance of the anniversary. The children sang and took part in Israel folk dances. Flowers were presented by the children to the Embassy.
