Israel will be represented at the International Film Festival in Cannes this year by “Hill 24 Doesn’t Answer,” a feature length film, it was announced by the Israel Embassy here. The film has been described as Israel’s first bid to enter the world film market.
Directed by veteran British film director Thorold Dickinson, the picture had its world premiere in Jerusalem this month. It is the first full length film to be processed entirely in Israel at recently completed laboratory facilities there.
