Israel Minister Maurice Fisher has called on Turkish Foreign Minister Fuat Koprulu and has handed him a memorandum calling for reconsideration of Israel-Turkish relations in view of the Iraqi-Turkish pact, which Israel considers to be aimed at it, the Turkish press reports.
The report states that the memorandum stresses that Israel wishes to continue its friendly relations with Ankara and notes that Israel is not adopting an aggressive attitude toward any state, but that it is determined to defend its territory.
