Israel’s consul at Munich, I. Libneh, will quit Germany at the moment the American High Commissioner for Germany, John J. McCloy, leaves the country, a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry declared here today.
He also revealed that a report from Consul Libneh made clear that individual claims of Israeli citizens against West Germany for property stolen from them by the Nazis will be honored by the West German Government after it signs the contractual agreement with the Western Powers and achieves sovereignty.
