Details of the production plans by Israel Aircraft Industries, Ltd., of executive-type jet aircraft for export were revealed here today by Barclays Bank Overseas Review. According to the Review, Israel will produce 60 of the jet craft a year. The ships are said to be planned to fly at 420 miles per hour, at an altitude of 33,000 feet.
The Review also reports that Israel’s diamond exports during the first six months of this year have totalled a value of $28,648,000, an increase of $6,220,000 over the comparable period of 1959. Diamond imports from January to June this year were valued at $8,221,000, by comparison with $6,335,000 in the same period of 1959.
