Approval by the World Bank of a projected $22,000,000 loan is expected soon, P. Gintzburg, director-general of the Transport and Communications Ministry, said today.
The loan is slated for use in road development with priority for building and developing a road between Sdom and Eilat and roads in the Ashdod development area. A World Bank mission now in Israel in connection with the loan met Sunday with Israel Bar-Yehuda, the Transportation Minister, and with Finance Minister Levi Eshkol today.
