Levi Eshkol, Israel’s Finance Minister, was enroute today to Rome and Paris to negotiate credits for Israel and to discuss details of implementation of French investment credits.
Mr. Eshkol will negotiate in Rome the final stages of a new Italian credit for the Jewish Agency’s settlement work and may also discuss the problem of providing new sources for certain raw materials needed in Israel.
The Finance Minister may also add to his Paris agenda a discussion of problems in connection with projects for the installation of equipment for overland transportation of bulk fluid cargoes which are already covered in the French credit agreement.
