Israel Friedlander Teachers Classes Have 300 Students

The opening exercises of the Israel Friedlaende Teachers’ Classes were held at the Stuyvesant Neighborhood House, New York.

Dr. Mordecai M. Kaplan delivered the principal address, stating that the work began with one branch of thirty students and now contains five branches located throughout Greater New York and Newark with an enrollment of three hundred.

The Israel Friedlaender Classes have filled a vital need in the life of the Jewish youth,” according to Dr. Kaplan.
