Dr. Israel Goldstein was reelected president of the Jewish Conciliation Board of America today for his 38th term of office. Elected to serve with him were Dr. Julius Mark Dr. Leo Jung, Judge Jacob Panken and Charles Frost as vice-presidents; William Sachs, treasurer; Jacob Goodman, associate treasurer: and Ruth Richman, executive director.
In his presidential report. Dr. Goldstein stated that during his 38-year tenure more than 25,000 problems had been adjudicated by this 48-year-old tribunal. The court offers a binding arbitration free of charge, and maintains a social service department. Dr. Goldstein, Rabbi Emeritus of Congregation B’nai Jeshurun, serves in Israel as world chairman of the United Israel Appeal.
