An extraordinary session of Israel’s Parliament will be held during the current recess of the Knesset to discuss the Government’s three-year austerity program approved by the Cabinet this week. The meeting was planned at the request of leaders of the Herut-Liberal Gahal alignment. They asked for a full dress Knesset debate on Israel’s overall economic situation.
