Soleh Boneh, the construction company, signed contracts with an undisclosed Middle Eastern country for an extensive construction program, including the building of 2,500 miles of roads, it was learned here today.
Solel Boneh has already completed a variety of building projects in Turkey, Cyprus and Ghana. It is also negotiating for contracts in Liberia and Nigeria. The latest contract includes a provision under which the construction will be carried out by a corporation in which the Solel Boneh and the government involved will each own 50 percent of the assets. Work in Ghana was carried out on that basis and the negotiations with Liberia and Nigeria look toward the same arrangement.
