Israel, with one doctor for every 425 inhabitants, has more doctors per capita than any other country in the world and more are needed, delegates to the Fourth World Assembly of the Israel Medical Association were told here.
Israel’s supply of physicians was compared with that of the United States, France and Britain with ratios of one doctor for 700,900 and 1,000 inhabitants, respectively.
