Israel hopes to increase its agricultural exports to European countries, the Israel Minister of Agriculture, Kadish Looz, said here today on completion of a four-week study tour of Western European countries.
He indicated that other crops apart from citrus and ground-nuts, which Israel now exports to Europe in sizeable quantities, should find markets here and noted that Israel this year, for the first time, had exported eggs to Europe and had found a ready market Only a year ago, Israel had to import eggs to meet domestic shortages.
