Israel indefinitely postponed the release of 400 security prisoners, which had been meant to boost Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon decided Sunday that as long as Abbas does not meet his commitments to crack down on Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups, Israel will not carry out a second batch of prisoner releases agreed to at a February summit.
