As the first step in the scholarship and loan program of the present academic year, the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, has awarded 93 scholarships, it was announced today by J. W. Wunsch, president of the American Technion Society. The scholarships, total value of which is more than 13,000 Israeli pounds, were awarded to outstanding students in all faculties and departments of Technion.
An additional 85 scholarships are also available under the terms of assistance from the Academic Military Reserve, the Jewish Agency, Ministry of Defense and the Israel Defense Army, among others.
