The Israel legation in Moscow is investigating the possibilities of purchasing oil from the Soviet Union, Zeev Argaman, counsellor of the legation in Moscow, declared here today before leaving to resume his duties. Mr. Argaman, who spent two weeks here facilitating the export of citrus products to Russia, said that Israel has purchased 300 tons of paraffin, which is enough to cover half of its annual needs, from the U.S.S.R.
