Israel is concerned about the appointment of Yevgeny Primakov as Russia’s new prime minister, government sources said. “His past activities and views about the Middle East gives us concern,” said one source, referring to Primakov’s past support for Iraq, Syria, and Iran. “We definitely hope we are wrong.”
