Israel is making preparations to begin taking down illegal settlement outposts in the West Bank next week. In keeping with Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s declaration at the summit in Jordan this week, defense officials have drawn up an initial list of some 20 illegal enclaves that may be dismantled, the daily Yediot Achronot reported. Security sources said the evacuations would be “gradual.”
