At the annual meeting of the Deborah Jewish Consumptive Relief Society Israel Katz of Camden, New Jersey, was elected president of the organization which is now seeking to raise additional funds to complete a new building made necessary by the increase in the number of consumptive patients since the depression.
Other officers elected are Judge Jacob Panken, honorary president; David Dubinsky, Elias Savada and Beatrice F. Joseph, vice-presidents: J. Satenstein and B. Shanfein, treasurers: Abraham Berkowitz, chairman of the board of trustees; Milton M. Unger, chairman of the executive board; Cyrus Levinthal, secretary and Max Bellak, executive director.
