The Israel legation here announced today in the Vatican newspaper, Osservatore Romano, that everything possible is being done to facilitate the pilgrimages to Jerusalem and other Holy Places in Israel during the forthcoming Vatican-proclaimed Holy Year. Pilgrims will be permitted to cross the Israel Arab lines in both directions, the announcement added.
Shlomo Ginossar, Israel Minister to Italy, and Counsellor to the Israel Legation Ben Zion Kadury, participated today in a session of the Institute of International Political Studies in Milan. Minister Ginossar outlined to the Institute members the Jewish state’s peace-loving policy and reiterated Israel’s claim that Jerusalem was part of the new state.
