An Israeli flag was hoisted today over the German freighter, Haussa, which was built in a Nazi shipyard in 1942 and has languished in New York harbor since the end of the war as an American war prize. The ship was purchased by the Atid Navigation Company of Haifa and was renamed Daniels Borchard.
