Plans and problems concerning the conserving of oil, which is in short supply in Israel, were discussed at a meeting here last night of the government’s economic council. Premier David Ben Gurion presided.
Dr. Peretz Naphtali, Minister without portfolio in the Cabinet, revealed that that body had appointed a Ministerial committee to prepare a plan for saving oil through cutting the use of buses and diverting more passengers to the railroads.
