Ehud Avriel, Israel Minister to Rumania and formerly Minister to Czechoslovakia and Hungary, today reported on his activities abroad to a weekly meeting of the Israel Cabinet.
The basis of the government’s new nationality law, soon to be prosented to Parliament, was laid down at the meeting. In addition the Ministers discussed the wage demands of the doctors and teachers employed by the government, and ordered a subcommittee to conclude negotiations with the Palestine Potash Company for a new concession.
The duties of Labor Minister Golda Myerson were temporarily divided among the other Ministers prior to her scheduled departure tomorrow for the United States where she will aid the United Jewish Appeal campaign.
